As a full-service civil and structural engineering firm, KPFF has the ability to meet the needs of our diverse client base. Providing exceptional engineering has been a fundamental goal of KPFF since our founding in 1960. The firm was founded with the belief that engineers should be able to practice their profession with a minimum of organizational restriction, and allowed to work directly and independently with their clients while drawing upon the experience and resources of other professionals in the firm.

Today, we still subscribe to this ideal and we have approximately 900 highly skilled professionals with a wide range of experience to draw upon. The firm has always been guided by the principle of placing the profession first and the business second. Since the opening of our Tacoma office in 2001, KPFF Tacoma has been providing engineering services for a wide range of projects including: transportation, industrial, commercial, recreational, and environmental projects of all sizes. Our experience includes the preparation of studies, analysis, designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. From planning through design and into construction, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and efficient services.
