The KPFF Special Projects Division was established in 1996 to manage large, complex multidiscipline projects with a unique combination of focused dedication to successful project delivery via specialized project managers, a highly qualified technical staff, and a predisposition to think and act innovatively. We are a dynamic 45+ person group, located in two offices, that provides project management, planning, civil & structural engineering, machinery design, and construction management on a wide range of project types through all stages of development.

KPFF is continually looking for highly skilled, talented, and motivated individuals with strong communication and organizational skills to work on challenging waterfront and industrial engineering projects. Our mission includes a commitment to consistent, prudent growth, while maintaining a leadership role in engineering and project and construction management. If you are ready to take your skills to the next level and are looking for a place to challenge yourself, please contact us at:

Our unique culture is founded on these concepts: diversity; valuing our clients; providing a challenging environment and clear goals; encouragement of individuals and individual initiative; perpetuation, integrity, and high ethical standards; creativity and expectation of excellence; and confidence in the ability of our people.
Our people work in dynamic teams with open communication and strong support from senior-level mentors across all our disciplines. These teams work directly with our clients on some of the most challenging projects in the region.

KPFF supports continued professional growth and development of our employees through in-house and outside training. In-house training is a continuous process including both formal and informal activities. Seminars and training sessions are organized to address specific technical, management, or administrative subjects. All staff members are encouraged to continue their own education in the interest of advancing their professional careers. KPFF also supports employees who wish to pursue academic degree programs and training programs that are directly related to assigned duties within the firm. In addition, KPFF encourages active participation in recognized technical and professional societies. KPFF participates in regional and national meetings dealing with subjects that will benefit professional development and reputation.

We approach all of our work in a team setting where everyone contributes. Our ability to accomplish this is built on the strength of relationships of all our close-knit staff. We build these relationships through social interaction, sporting events, happy hours, and contributions back to our community.
